Northern Precision Products utilizes several types of vision systems to assure the quality of our product. We use the digital optical comparator for both startup checks and in-process verification. We also use digital image measurement systems to verify concentricity and feature locations.

In addition, 100% of our screw machine products are dimensionally verified using conveyor-driven inspection systems. Parts with conforming internal features fully seat on a customized gauge pin that presents each finished component to a 2D optical micrometer. The micrometer counts and places the acceptable components directly in the shipping container. This practice, along with our quality systems, allows us to offer the zero defect guarantee.
